Oh boy. You've dropped your diary in some water, and all those cringy 'Dear diary' notes are lost. What a pity.
Well, in the future, you can go for a waterproof notebook instead so that your notes and scribbles can stay safe even if they get some water on them.
However, to say that they will be fine even if you take them with you for a dip in the river would be an unrealistic exaggeration. These things are good for fighting off moderate amounts of water, not douses and deluges.
Anyhow, here are some of our recommendations:
Yep, that's right. We are looking at it once again.
Whatever we mentioned in the first product is included in the mini version of the same as well. One additional awesome benefit that you get to enjoy is the super-compact size.
You will get one of these for free when you buy our Summit Notebook slim minimalist wallet. You can either keep it inside the wallet in the dedicated pocket, or you can take it out and carry it separately. By opting for the latter option, you will be able to utilize the dedicated pocket for cash instead.
If you are looking for something small and compact, the Rite in the Rain All-Weather Notebook is a good choice for you. This thing is ideal for note-takers who have to do a bit of scribbling every now and then. It comes with 50 pages, all bound with spiral rings. Furthermore, the 7" x 4 5/8" size makes it easy enough to carry in small backpacks, shoulder carriers, or even in a large wallet with zipper.
One thing to keep in mind when writing on the pages of the Rite in the Rain notebook is that you won't be able to use your fountain and gel pens. You can get a Trayvax Bullet Space Pen or a standard ballpoint for jotting down your notes instead. (While we are on the topic, you can buy the Bullet Space Pen individually or as part of the deal when buying our leather front pocket wallet: the Summit Notebook.)
The Cosmos All-Weather Lined Notepad is yet another compact option that you can buy. The dimensions are 3 x 5 inches; which makes this pretty easy to carry in a pocket, along with a few pens and a tactical wallet.
When buying a bundle, you get five notepads. In each pad, you get 50 pages, which you can tear out from the spiral holder. It's a nice and affordable deal.
The Cosmos Lined Notepad is, like the previous product, good for light water contact. In other words, don't go diving with this one in your pocket!
Well, we have looked at a couple of small and compact products till now, so let's go for something a bit bigger.
The Pictostone Stone Paper Notebook comes with a hard black cover, equipped with an elastic band. There are 240 pages that you can enjoy writing on without worrying about running out soon.
The awesome thing about this product is the page quality. With the 140gsm page thickness, you will be able to enjoy a nice and smooth writing experience.
Coming to the disadvantage, it is a bit on the bigger side. That can make it a little difficult for you to carry this notebook around. But hey, the size will go well with a long wallet for men.
While the one by Pictostone was only a bit to the large size, this one is pretty much a full-sized notebook.
The Field Notes Expedition Edition comes with the advantage of having a hardcover (which won't bend or warp) and a dotted-grid page layout. The latter can be helpful if you have trouble keeping your writing organized on simple, blank pages.
You do, however, get only 64 pages; which means that you will run out rather quickly. And the size, too, is 7 x 10 inches. You will have to use a proper bag to carry it around.
So, there you have it. These were some of our recommended waterproof notebooks/notepads that you can buy in 2022. If you are going to work someplace wet and watery, it's best to be prepared. With these notebooks, you won't have to worry about blotched and messy notes. You'll be able to write clearly and comfortably whether it's rainy and windy, or dry and sunny.
