On Monday, May 29, 2017 we observe Memorial Day. Today we give solemn thanks to remember and honor those that made the ultimate sacrifice in the name of our country. We gather together to celebrate their lives and their heroism. We celebrate the freedoms and ideals our fallen soldiers fought to protect. Our hearts go out to every friend and family member of someone who died fighting for our right to live the way we do.
Proper flag etiquette on Memorial Day: Raise the flag to full staff for a moment before bringing it down to half. At noon return the flag to full staff.
