What do we mean when we say our wallets and gear are handmade?
Referring to something as "handmade" potentially conveys a wide spectrum of definitions. Products can be handcrafted, raw materials transformed into a finished product with nothing but the hands and their tools. Things can also be homemade, often slapped together with whatever is on hand at the time. Not that long ago, Trayvax wallets were being homemade.
Today, Trayvax gear is neither of those things. We source high quality components from US companies and weave those components into a product that is greater than the sum of its parts. As the components come together, our manufacturers work through a menagerie of dexterous tasks involving hand tools and different machines.
The processes are standard, but at the end of the day each Trayvax product is personal. One of our very talented and dedicated production Vaxters carefully worked a collection of bits and pieces into something to carry with you for the rest of your life. That's something to be proud of, and we most certainly are proud to say that all of our products are handmade with love and precision right here in the United States.
