Surviving Hard Times

This past year Trayvax hit some hard times. It was halfway through 2019 and we were not doing well. Worried that we would be forced to close the doors. We took risks and we bounced back! Recording our best Holiday Season to date.

We want to take this time to thank you, our amazing customer base, who made it happen! Without your continuous support we would not be where we are today.

As we head into a hard time as a planet with a spreading sickness worldwide, support is needed now more than ever. Supporting your family and friends during this tough time and most importantly yourself. Self care is the root of all successful people, businesses and inevitably the world.

Please know that Trayvax is taking proper precautions to protect our community during this outbreak. We reflect on how Trayvax got through our tough time as a company last year to help you, the world, survive past this struggle.

How we did it...

Creating a (healthy) Routine

Each day that passes provides an opportunity to grow and build upon the life we want for ourselves. We learned as a company that our systems were not compatible with our success. This was a primary focus for us once we admitted the current state of the business was not doing well.

Creating a healthy routine requires follow through on good habits. Pick a new task you want to complete, a skill you want to learn or a goal you want to obtain today, then do it day after day.

Try Something New: Take the Risk

Setting attainable goals can keep you on track while going through a hard time. If you are required to spend an abundance of time inside use it to your advantage rather than a hardship.

Look at taking risks as an opportunity to learn something new, read a book or even better -- write a book! Acknowledging the current state you are in is healthy, it allows you to work within its parameters. Accepting the hardship is normally the most difficult part.

Take care of yourself, eat well & exercise

Now this may go without saying but a healthy routine does not start with a doughnut for breakfast every morning. Food is your fuel for life, providing yourself with the correct portions of a well balanced diet will help you feel better. It will increase your energy levels, helping your body move easier and your mind to think more clearly. “Stretching the legs” is my time for creativity, allowing my mind to wander and center my thoughts toward a certain goal. "Climb the damn mountain."

Stick to the Routine: Be Persistent

Follow through on challenging tasks is where success lives. Any goal that comes easy is not as satisfying as the one that was hard to work for. We know there will be difficult times that will ultimately lead to reward. The mountain is climbed one step at a time, remembering this when things get tough will help you to move forward.

Distance Yourself from People

Elected officials are warning us to do this physically but socially this is required for growth. There can be certain people in your life that are a burden; they could even be a loved one or someone you truly care for. They weigh you down, shoot down your goals & inevitably keep you in the hard time you are going through. These people need to be silenced during this time of personal growth and self care.
Remember self care is at the root of all success. Helping yourself first will allow you to help so many others shine their own light down the road.

We hope this helps. Stay safe out there friends!

Cheers,
