This is my first trayvax wallet and as I do not For see the need to buy another, when I am in mind to purchase I will look for non other than Trayvax. I have had my eye on the axis but we shal see.
I love the summit! Small and durable! Fits in your front pocket with ease and looks great!
Are you still on the fence if the Summit is right for you? I have carried this wallet for over a year before writing a review and found all the quirks, which I'm 100% okay with. What changes you will have to make for this wallet: -As a minimalist wallet, it excels exactly at that. If you have a fat worn out wallet with receipts and business cards jammed inside then this wallet will be a steep learning curve. If you need all 15 cards in your wallet on a daily basis then this isn't the wallet for you, but first narrow down the essentials or like me you don't have much to begin with. -The nylon is adjustable but not in the way that is convenient, once again this card is for people who don't need to constantly change the wallet size with cash, keys, nickels, business cards. Have a set amount, adjust the band and stick to it. Yes, at times you have to leave a credit card for a bar tab and all the cards will be loose until your card is returned. That's the minor quirk that can be fixed with the lanyard and ring (acts as a retainer from cards flying out) -At first you will have to play around with the nylon to fine tune it, took me a few times to where it was just right. -Can carry a key or cash/few rolled up receipts *Cash will help the cards stay tight* I rarely ever carry cash so it's not an issue. -If you're not cognizant of card placement, you will play shuffle often taking all the cards out to get the one you need. Sometime's I'll be in a hurry and jam my ID in the middle then have to fish it out later. It sounds like a con, but with my old wallets I still did the same thing. -Possible wear on cards. You figure sliding cards in and out scratches the strip but then again, I've never noticed it plus everyone is moving towards the EMV Chip. Because the frame is open- cards are exposed to lint and grit from the pocket and you will notice it sliding cards in and out. All in all, this is the right wallet for me: I don't carry cash, I use only 8 cards, I'm rarely taking my wallet in /out and flipping through it. It sits in my pocket for when I need it and I'm okay with how the cards are stored and organized...in a $15 package. It's a wallet, and that's all wallet need to do.
This is awesome!
I love my wallet. It's slim and holds exactly as many cards as I need. Sleek design. Strong materials.
