Personalized natural/blonde leather dog collar made with Hermann Oak full grain veg tan leather; this is 100% USA leather. Edges are slicked, and the front is sealed with a plant-based oil. A perfect collar for the minimalist who loves a classic look.
❕ Leather will naturally patina/darken with sun exposure, age, and wear.
❕ This is a vegetable tanned leather; no chemicals are used in the tanning process. Vegetable tanned leather is more firm and rigid, but it breaks into being a soft and supple leather. It begs to be used every day to break in and develop its beautiful patina. You can speed this process up by playing with the collar while relaxing. Curl it up and / or pull it at an angle through your hands. The best method is just to use it consistently.
We use 6-7 oz leather for sizes XXS-XS and 8-10 oz leather for sizes S-3X - which makes for a very durable and strong collar. Our center bar buckle does not have a leather keeper. D-ring is provided to attach leash &/or tags. Your choice of solid brass hardware: brushed nickel, natural, or black plated.
❕ Solid brass will oxidize and tarnish the leather.
